A holistic, trauma-informed & relational approach, customized to you, for the real changes you want to see.

For 17 years, I have been committed to ongoing training in the most evidence-based psychotherapy treatment approaches that lifts the fog of depression, re-wires limiting anxiety patterns, effectively calms stress and helps you feel truly in control and enjoying your life again.

 

My approach is compassionate, relational and warm, and values a supportive therapeutic relationship as a central change element in healing and growth. Regardless of what modality we use, in our work together, it is my hope that you can feel heard, understood and that we are working effectively towards a sense of greater ease, resolution of painful patterns and conflicts, and you feel the lightness and uplift that comes from getting your life back on track. 

Integrative & Holistic Counselling

Relational Psychotherapy treatment for depression, anxiety, relationship struggles.

I believe effective therapy has a foundation in compassion and collaboration, in an environment that is empathic and responsive to your particular struggle, flexible in responding to your ongoing needs, and integrates methods into a holistic approach respectful of mind, body, spirit holism.

 

I believe in order to heal we need to know that we have an attuned other that understands, helps you make sense of the problem and offers effective tools to help you wake up your inherent capacity to heal.

My approach is flexible and integrates key elements from various relational psychotherapy methods that are proven to be effective. The modalities I use all blend beautifully together in a comprehensive, holistic, relational, somatic therapy & online trauma-informed treatment.

 

Most importantly, I will meet you where you are at, learn about your goals and offer ways of working. Rather than sticking to a one-size-fits-all, my approach is personalized and collaborative so we can discover what works for you.

 

The goal is to help you experience the changes you want to see in a way that works best for you.

TREATMENT APPROACH

Sensorimotor Psychotherapy

By honouring the mind, body, spirit holism, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (SP)  holds respect for the body as our greatest ally for deep healing. SP is a somatic therapy treatment for trauma and PTSD and for working with a range of issues including current struggles, relationship stress and the residue of childhood relational abuse.

 

SP works to help you feel more embodied, integrated in mind/body/spirit and enhanced felt sense of wholeness.

TREATMENT APPROACH

EMDR Therapy

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is a evidence supported online trauma treatment to help process and reframe distressing memories, reducing their negative charge and help your thinking become more adaptive so you can reduce suffering and feel more confident.

 

EMDR uses bilateral stimulation (tapping, eye movements, sound) to aid re-processing, freeing you from trauma residue so you can feel in control again.

TREATMENT APPROACH

Psychodynamic Psychotherapy

In a safe and empathic space, with the support of an attuned therapeutic relationship, we explore your current struggle, gain insight into relational patterns and your developmental past, understand your adaptive strategies and create positive shifts.

 

Work with nourishing your Inner Child (Ego State therapy/Internal Family Systems) for reconsolidating painful memories so they no longer affect you.

TREATMENT APPROACH

Clinical Hypnotherapy

A gentle but profound therapeutic technique that accesses your subconscious mind and your natural, inherent capacity for insight and pattern change. Tap into to a deeply relaxed state and reprogram troubling thoughts, emotions, habits and behaviours. Reduce trauma activation, develop deeper self confidence and connect with your spiritual self.

 

Research shows significant reduction in anxiety, chronic pain and improved sleep. 

TREATMENT APPROACH

Music & Voice Integrated Psychotherapy

Explore music and your unique voice for self expression, emotional healing and enhanced psychological wellness. A powerful tool for exploring and expression feelings that might be difficult to articulate with talk therapy alone. Engage in music listening, songwriting, soundscape creation, vocal work and singing to build self-awareness, reduce trauma symptoms, lift depression, access inner calm, and feel more connection and vitality.

Hakomi Therapy

A gentle, client-centred approach that blends mindfulness and somatic awareness to foster deep healing. In a safe, nurturing space, you are invited to explore your inner experiences and patterns, guided by my compassionate presence. Hakomi helps uncover unconscious beliefs and emotional blocks, heal relational wounds allowing for profound insights and transformations.
