Experienced & Supportive Clinical Supervision in Vancouver
Find your unique therapist signature with encouraging and empowering relational supervision
I provide online Clinical Supervision in Vancouver and consultation designed for both new and seasoned mental health professionals. As an Approved Clinical Supervisor, with over 20 years of experience in mental health and education, I am committed to supporting therapists to build confidence and grow professionally and personally while making a meaningful impact on the clients they work with.
A Safe, Encouraging Space
In my time as a therapist, I have had excellent supervision. I have also noticed when supervision methods had been less effective, where I didn’t feel safe to ask questions freely or express my vulnerabilities.
As therapists we have a profound role, one where we cannot separate our self from our work. We need a unique kind of support for this.
Much like how we aim to show up for our clients, supervision should provide a secure landing place, where you can feel respected and valued as you develop your unique therapist signature.
I believe that, fundamentally supervision should have a strong foundation of trust. As a supervisor, my aim is to create a safe environment, where you can openly share your thoughts, feelings and challenges without fear of being criticized. You can feel free to share your clinical gains as well as discuss impasses and enactments without judgment.
I acknowledge the inherent challenges of therapeutic work, and seek to offer reassurance and guidance with challenging cases. I believe this emotional support can be crucial in helping supervisees navigate the complexities of their roles and to be the confident therapist they wish to be.
"Understanding why people suffer, how they change, and how to help them live more satisfying and gratifying lives is a fascinating, huge, and important undertaking"
~ Flanagan Sommers
Supportive, relational, strength-based supervsion
I understand a lot of therapists come into supervision, anxious that they should prove themselves, or else they fear being deemed not good enough. I am committed to cultivating a culture of collaboration and respect, abiding by a foundational principle of organicity that recognizes the growth that occurs when we are given the right conditions.
Recognition of Your Unique Strengths
In our sessions, we will identify and celebrate your unique strengths as a therapist. Your individual skills, training, values, and life experiences contribute to your distinctive therapeutic approach, and I am committed to helping feel increasingly actualized in your work.
Respectful feedback
Together we will apply a compassionate lens to any roadblocks you may encounter in your work with clients. Together, we will address therapeutic impasses and enactments as normal aspects of the therapeutic process, and best approached with increasing awareness and growth.

Where new learnings or shifting perspectives is useful, constructive feedback is delivered with respect and honours the therapist’s stage of development.
Collaborative, Competency-based development
You will receive gentle encouragement and support to map out and achieve your professional growth objectives. We will work collaboratively so you are actively involved in setting your own development goals. My aim is to assist you in creating a clear and actionable plan for your ongoing development as a therapist.
“One of the most important instruments you have to work with as a counselor is yourself as a person… To every therapy session, we bring our human qualities and the experiences that have influenced us. In my judgment, this human dimension is one of the most powerful influences on the therapeutic process.”
